Known fondly as Meeru by friends, offers a relaxing casual tropical atmosphere. A large island by local standards, much of the island remains untouched, with its natural vegetation intact. Are located in a “U” shaped block of 20 rooms near the Dhoni Bar pool, with a wooden sun deck and a privacy screen between the rooms, and share a shaded area beneath the coconut palms with a lovely view of the tropical gardens.
Beach Villas
Are located on the beach, and are spacious, individual wooden bungalows offering a beautiful view of the lagoon, and feature a semi open-air bathroom.
Jacuzzi Beach Villas
are Beach Villas with an upgraded bedroom including a four poster bed, a private, walled-in outdoor area featuring a Jacuzzi for two “under the stars” with a wooden sundeck, chaise lounges, a shade Pavilion or umbrella and tropical plant.
Water Villas
Are located at the water’s edge, with private sundeck, stairs into the sea, a spectacular view of the lagoon.
Jacuzzi Water Villas
Are located over-the-water, in the lagoon…a short walk along your private jetty to this secluded hideaway.
Honeymoon Suites
Are located over-the-water, in the lagoon…a short “dhoni” boat ride from shore.
The Farivalhu Restaurant
Is for guests staying in the Garden rooms, the Beach Villas, the Jacuzzi Beach Villas, & the Jacuzzi Water Villas and is located in the center of the island. There is also outdoor seating on a wooden deck.
The Maalan Restaurant
Is for guests staying in the adults only Jacuzzi Beach Villas (600’s), Water Villas and Jacuzzi Water Villas (700’s) and is located on the northern end of the island. There is also outdoor seating on a wooden dec.
A’La Carte Restaurant
Specializing in Asian cuisine and Teppanyaki. Over-the-water restaurant, located on the southern end of the island.
The Hot Rock Restaurant
Featuring seafood, steak, chicken or exotic game cooked at your table on volcanic “hot rocks”.Located on the Pavilion Bar Pool deck.
