Vilamendhoo Island Resort, surrounded by a beautiful lagoon and long stretches of white, sandy beach, the only resort on the island of Vilamendhoo, is 900 m long by 250 m wide, about 5 acres. Your seaplane transfer from Male’ International Airport is a scenic, 25 minute flight.

Vilamendhoo Island Resort has a total of 184 Rooms include 13 Garden Rooms, 111 Beach Villas, 30 Jacuzzi Beach Villas and 30 Jacuzzi Water Villas.

Garden Room

Are the same as Beach Villas but not located on the beach. They are in 3 blocks of 4 or 5 rooms, and have a privacy screen between each room.

Beach Villa

Are located on the beach with a beautiful view of the lagoon,four poster bed, tile floor, partially open-air bathroom with double sinks and a small tropical garde.

Jacuzzi Beach Villa

Are Beach Villas, more spacious, with wood floor, an iPod docking station, a private, walled-in outdoor area featuring a Jacuzzi for two “under the stars”, a wooden sundeck,chaise lounges and a shade umbrell.

Jacuzzi Water Villa

Are located over-the-water, in the lagoon…a short walk along your private jetty to this secluded hideaway featuring a larger bedroom,wood floor, an iPod docking station/sound tower, a tea/coffee/espresso machine; a spacious, partially open-air bathroom with double sinks, a private, walled-in outdoor area featuring a Jacuzzi for two “under the stars”, a wooden sundeck with chaise lounges, a shade umbrella, tropical plants,a private sundeck with stairs into the sea and magnificent views.

The buffet lines include live action cooking stations where food is prepared to your order. Soups, breads and desserts are homemade and the fresh, tropical fruits are delicious. You are assigned to your own table throughout your stay so that you may enjoy your privacy, or you are welcome to invite friends to join you, as and when you please.

The Funama Restaurant

Is for guests staying in the Garden rooms and the Beach Villas and is located in the center of the island. There is also outdoor seating on a wooden deck.

The Ahima Restaurant

Is for guests staying in the adults only Jacuzzi Beach Villas and Jacuzzi Water Villas and is located on the western end of the island. There is also outdoor seating on a wooden deck.

A’la Carte Restaurant

Specializing in Asian cuisine and Teppanyaki. Over-the-water restaurant.

The Hot Rock Restaurant

Featuring seafood, steak, chicken or exotic game cooked at your table on volcanic “hot rocks”.
